Managed IT Services
Unbudgeted server failures. Emergency invoices. A help desk that treats you like a ticket number. If technology keeps showing up in your budget as a surprise — or in your week as a fire drill — the problem usually isn’t the technology. It’s that nobody truly owns it.
Pinnacle IT takes ownership. One flat monthly rate covers your day-to-day support, your security, your maintenance, and the strategic planning that keeps next year’s technology spend from becoming next year’s emergency.
What’s included in managed IT services from Pinnacle IT?
Our managed IT services include everything an internal IT department would handle, delivered by a team of nearly 50 professionals across six offices in Arkansas and Texas, all for one predictable monthly rate, priced per user or per device.
- Daily operations & user support — U.S.-based help desk (about 80% of requests are resolved remotely), after-hours emergency response, on-site services with no labor caps, and same-day onboarding and offboarding when people join or leave.
- Proactive management — 24/7 system health monitoring, monthly maintenance tune-ups on every managed device, automated third-party patching (browsers, PDF tools, Java, and more), and a plain-English monthly report so you always know where things stand.
- Network & infrastructure — firewalls, switching, Wi-Fi, VPN, VLAN segmentation, server management, and hardware lifecycle planning so equipment is replaced when it’s due, not when it dies.
- Cloud & Microsoft 365 — tenant management, MFA and conditional access, license optimization, and SaaS backup.
- Cybersecurity — a managed security stack watched 24/7, security awareness training, and internal policy creation.
- Backup & continuity — encrypted backups, immutable offsite copies, and documented failover tests against your recovery time targets.
What does “one flat monthly rate” actually mean?
Pinnacle IT offers a flat monthly rate for managed IT services, which means the number you budget in January is the number you pay in December. Support labor is included with no hourly caps. On-site visits don’t come with trip charges.
A bad month for your technology isn’t a bad month for your budget. That’s our problem to absorb, which is exactly why we’re so motivated to prevent issues instead of billing for them. It also means the incentives finally point the right way. An hourly IT vendor earns more when things break. We earn our rate when things don’t.
What we look for in a new environment
Every engagement starts with an assessment, and after 30+ years, we know where the problems hide. When we walk into a new environment, we’re looking for:
- Third-party software that hasn’t been patched in months — the entry point for many attacks
- Backup jobs that run every night but have never been test-restored
- Hardware past its lifecycle with no replacement date and no budget line
- A network nobody has documented, held together by one person’s memory
- Accounts still active for employees who left last year
- Licensing you’re paying for and not using — or worse, using and not paying for
If reading that list made you wonder about your own environment, that’s what our free consultation is for.
The backbone for cybersecurity, cloud, and AI
Strong security, a well-run Microsoft 365 tenant, and safe AI adoption all depend on the same foundation: patched systems, documented networks, managed identities, and tested backups. That foundation is managed IT. It’s why our clients who add cybersecurity services, cloud optimization, or an AI Readiness Assessment get results faster. The groundwork is already done.
Local support, everywhere you operate
Pinnale IT has five offices in Arkansas (Little Rock, Lowell, Fort Smith, Jonesboro, and Hot Springs), one in Texas (Texarkana), and technicians in Dallas, TX and Springfield, MO. If your organization has four locations in three states, we’re one of very few firms in this market that can put hands on every one of them without a plane ticket. One stack, one standard, and one roadmap across every site instead of a different answer depending on who picks up the phone.
Do you work with internal IT departments?
Yes, and we’re good at it. Many of our clients have a capable internal IT person or team who needs enterprise tooling, security specialization, after-hours coverage, or simply more hands. Co-managed IT gives them all of it without giving anything up.

Technology planning your CFO will actually like
With regular technology reviews, a three-to-five-year roadmap, hardware refresh forecasting, and license audits, IT spend becomes a planned line item instead of a mid-year appropriation request. We act as your fractional CIO, and we’ll present the plan to your leadership team, your board, or your city council ourselves.

Managed IT FAQs
How fast do you respond to support requests?
Support request response times are defined in your service level agreement by priority — and they’re in writing. Emergencies get after-hours, on-call engineers. About 80% of day-to-day requests are resolved remotely by our U.S.-based help desk; the rest get a technician on-site.
What size organizations do you work with?
Our sweet spot is 20 to 300 users — organizations large enough to need real governance and security, but where a full internal IT department is hard to justify. We support both single-site businesses and multi-location organizations across Arkansas and neighboring states.
What happens during onboarding?
The first phase of onboarding is relatively seamless; our team comes on-site to install our tools and document everything we find that’s in the scope of your contract. Then we stabilize and harden, deploying our security stack, documenting your network, and fixing the recurring issues. From there, we shift to proactive management with daily support and regular technology reviews.
Are we locked into a long contract?
Agreement terms are based on network health, equipment age, initial project scope, and may vary depending on these factors.
Can you support our other locations out of state?
Yes. In addition to five offices in Arkansas and one in Texarkana, TX, we have technicians based in Dallas, TX and Springfield, MO, and we support multi-state footprints for many clients today.
